Tired of slacking his thirst in the plunging trough, the village blacksmith applied for a licence to sell ale in 1783 and Fangfossians have rejoiced ever since. Today the pub is locally owned and run by husband and wife team Jon and Emma. We offer delicious traditional and a la carte meals and the best local real ales. Our specialties board has been designed to utilise the finest local ingredients and all of our meals and desserts are freshly prepared to order by our dedicated team. We cater for all manner of dietary needs, just let us know your requirements and we shall be more than willing to help.We hope you enjoy our hospitality and a true taste of village life.
